Yes, we’re having a bit of a warm streak here in Cleveland, but this outfit post is all about vacation style. Last month, I spent a long weekend in Naples, Florida, for a much-needed but altogether-too-short vacation (I wrote about some of the trip’s highlights here!).

This is one of my go-to summer blouses, because it’s basic and airy — and it helps that it doesn’t create the dreaded farmer’s tan! The buttons on the blouse are gold, so I accessorized with a gold bracelet and added turquoise to create a level of interest to an otherwise straightforward color palette.

Matching your belt to your purse to your shoes is certainly one old fashion rule that has been thrown out the window, but I still wanted to slip on gold sandals to tie the whole look together. Plus, they’re much more Florida-festive than a simple black leather option.

These photos were taken out around Old Naples with a little detour to the residential areas. Any trip to Naples would be lacking without a visit to the shopping and dining in this area — both during the day and when it’s adorably lit up with white lights every night.
