Abandoned structures always intrigue me. The peeling paint and sense of emptiness beg you to ask what once took place there. In the city, vacant properties quickly become speckled with graffiti. In the end, the structures begin to look like an unconventional piece of art.
Taking advantage of an oddly warm December weekend, I finally explored an abandoned warehouse I often drive past. To match the gritty mood of the space, I threw on my studded boots and a leather jacket layered over a gray zip-up.
Cleveland is full of fascinating forgotten treasures, and my mission to find more picturesque abandoned spots continues.
