Judging by the winter wonderland outside, these photos clearly weren’t taken in the last week. Cleveland had a few unseasonably warm days followed immediately by inches of snow. In a matter of days, we watched as trees, still clinging to their fall foliage, became lined with white.
On those last warm days, we finally made our way to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, a park-like stretch along East Boulevard and Martin Luther King Drive. The foliage was just past its peak, but the scene was beautiful nonetheless.
Of course, it was perfect weather for a cozy, oversized sweater. To give the look some shape, I cinched the waist with a braided belt. At some point in time, someone in the fashion world ruled that belts must match purses and purses should match shoes. Well, today we know that’s one fashion rule that can be tossed out the window — when you want. Because I do enjoy matching my accessories from time to time for a very put-together look.
So, is fall officially over for the year?
